Shepparton police looking for stolen bike

Shepparton police are appealing for information after an unusual bike was stolen in Shepparton on Thursday.

The maroon bike had been secured using a cable lock in a car park on Wyndham Street.

About 4pm an unknown offender has stolen the unique bike.

The bike, which is the victim's main mode of transport, is a Verenti Substance, imported from the UK.

The bike is fitted with several customised additions including a custom Deuter rack pack, chrome drink bottle holders and a black metal luggage rack.

Police wish to speak to an unknown male, wearing a red jacket, who was seen riding the bike shortly after the theft.

Investigators have released images of the bike in the hope someone recognises the item.
