For the second time in two months, Cobram Lotto has sold a division one winning entry in a TattsLotto draw, but the latest winner remains elusive.
Cobram’s unregistered entry was one of four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3831 on April 7.
Each entry won the division one prize of $1,030,924.39.
The winning entry was sold at Cobram Lotto, 34 Punt Road, Cobram.
It was less than two months ago, on Saturday, February 10 that Cobram Lotto sold its last division one winning entry.
On that occasion, the winning entry was a 15-share store syndicate that won a total prize of $1,560,129.25.
The latest winning entry was not registered to a Tatts Card, Tatts officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news and have to wait until the ticketholder makes contact to claim their prize.
Cobram Lotto owner Dean Clydesdale said the outlet was celebrating selling another division one winning entry.
“Word has spread quickly and we’ve been really busy with people coming in to check their tickets,” he said.
“With two under our belt, maybe there’s a third one not too far away.”
Tatts spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said she was keen to unite the region’s latest division one winner with their prize.
“While we don’t know the identity of this latest winning ticketholder, I’m sure they’d love to discover they are now a division one winner!” she said.
“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the division one winner, but if you purchased an entry in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
“We’re urging all players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact Golden Casket on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize."
