Children can try their hands at learning to dance at the Excell Dance Centre open day tomorrow.

Instructor Amanda Garner said guests would be able to try a vast arrange of dance styles for free, hosted by herself and Sebastian Costa.

The pair recently returned from performing on cruise ships to run the centre.

‘‘We’ll start with Samba at 1pm,’’ she said.

There will be a 15-minute lesson on nine different styles from 1pm to 3pm.

‘‘There’ll be free food and drinks available,’’ Ms Garner said.

Ms Garner said the previous open day had been a great success with lots of children in attendance.

‘‘We do classes for adults as well but it has been great to see so many kids there,’’ she said.

Participants will get a chance to learn samba, rock’n’roll, salsa, waltz, lindy hop, old-time dance, merengue, party line dance and American smooth styles throughout the day.

Excell Dance Centre’s open day will be held on Sunday, April 8, from 1pm to 3.15pm at 3 Williams Rd, Shepparton. For more information, phone 58311777.
