175 women attended the International Women's Day breakfast.

Nearly 200 women attended the Soroptimist International of Shepparton International Women’s Day breakfast at the Parklake yesterday.

Guests were treated to lucky door prizes and speeches by Community Fund chief executive officer Cheryl Hammer and author Glenna Thomson.

Guests were able to buy signed copies of Ms Thomson’s latest book Stella and Margie, along with handmade items from the Soroptimists.

The breakfast focused on this year’s Women’s Day theme, Press for Progress, and talking about the extraordinary achievements of ordinary women.
