KYABRAM P-12 students have just received a delivery of shiny new stationary thanks to the Woolworths Earn and Learn program.

The school is one of more than 15,000 centres across the country that are sharing in more than 300,000 vital education resources.

The delivery contains a variety of educational resources, including sporting, mathematics, arts, science and technology equipment.

“It’s a privilege to be able to deliver the Earn and Learn educational equipment and resources, as we know how important and needed it is for schools and early learning centres in the area,” Woolworths Kyabram store manager Alex Forrest said.

“Thank you to everyone in the community for your efforts in collecting stickers as part of the program.

“As a result of your contribution, we are delighted to provide schools and early learning centres with a range of popular resources to support the next generation of our local community.”

Information and communications technology (ICT) was the leading resources category redeemed across most states and territories. The top five resources categories redeemed in Victoria were ICT, mathematics, sport, construction and art and craft.

Kyabram P-12 primary principal Kate Whitford said the support was overwhelming.

“We’re rapt there’s a program like this for locals to support us,” she said. “It’s a good community event which benefits the students and it’s all thanks to the community.’’
