The NBN Sky Muster Truck visited Shepparton, Numurkah, Kyabram and Echuca last week to provide information sessions and answer any questions about the rollout of the broadband network.

Construction of the NBN network is well advanced across north-east Victoria, with Tatura next in line for completion.

Victoria and Tasmania NBN local head Ebony Aitken said the point of the sessions was making people feel comfortable to come and ask questions about their areas.

‘‘The most commonly inquired about topic by visitors that had already connected to a plan over the NBN access network was how to get the best out of their broadband service, particularly in relation to speed of their internet service during peak and off-peak times,’’ Mrs Aitken said.

‘‘The rollout of the NBN broadband access network is one of the biggest transformations to Australia’s telecommunications industry to ever occur. It represents significant change for consumers and businesses as they make the move to the new network.’’
