Woman airlifted after crash

Police divert traffic after a crash on the Goulburn Valley Hwy at Tallygaroopna on Tuesday night.

A woman aged in her 20s was airlifted to Melbourne’s The Alfred hospital following a collision between a vehicle and a tree in Tallygaroopna this week.

Yesterday, a spokesperson from The Alfred said the woman remained in a stable condition.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the woman had neck, chest and knee injuries and was transported in a stable condition.

Emergency services were called to Goulburn Valley Hwy, Tallygaroopna — between McKenzie Rd and Boundary Rd — about 6pm on Tuesday.

Traffic was diverted around the scene of the accident for some hours, with northbound traffic diverted through McKenzie Rd, Tallygaroopna.
