Your best burgers

Revolver Burger Company staff member Bridie Stanton and chef Nathan Weis holding the most popular burger — the Revolver Loaded.

Brioche or bun? Swiss cheese or cheddar? One patty or two?

Some say these are all important elements that go into making a quality burger and, according to News readers, Revolver Burger Company is doing just that.

Located at Shepparton Marketplace, Revolver Burger Company took out our ‘Best burger in the GV’ competition as voted by our online readers in a poll at www.sheppnews.com.au

Revolver Burger Company chef Nathan Weis was excited to learn the business had the most popular burger in the Goulburn Valley.

‘‘It is great to get acknowledgment for the quality and time we put in to making the burgers,’’ Mr Weis said.

‘‘Using quality ingredients is the main key.’’

Jason and Lisa Lenon opened Revolver in May last year, with an idea to bring high-quality burgers to Shepparton.

‘‘Everything we make is cooked fresh to order,’’ Mr Lenon said.

‘‘There previously was nothing like it here in the food court, so we thought it was the perfect opportunity to introduce something new.’’

When asked what the most popular burger on the menu was, Mr Weis said the Revolver Loaded took the title.

Stacked high with a beef patty, beetroot, tomato, cheddar cheese, caramelised onion, egg, lettuce, aioli and relish on a soft milk bun, we can understand why it is a crowd favourite.

Revolver has 12 burgers on the menu, ranging from classic beef and chicken, all the way to double and triple barrel stacks.

Mr Lenon said the name Revolver shared a hidden meaning, with the menu continually revolving in taste as the season changed.

‘‘We are always looking to improve so we are taking all feedback on board and will be introducing new things in the future,’’ Mr Lenon said.

Shepparton Marketplace might not be the only location where you can taste one of these stand-out burgers in the near future; Mr Lenon said the possibility was always open to expand to other centres.

‘‘You never know what could happen; customers gain confidence with you and your product,’’ Mr Lenon said.

‘‘It is important to take time with each customer as you can never replace good customer service.’’

Revolver Burger Company is open daily, from 9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 8pm Friday, 9am to 5.30pm Saturday and 9am to 4.30pm on Sunday.
