Cobram badminton draw for the seniors partners tournament was on June 28 and it was a battle royale between Nick White, Ray Goldsack, Grant Gallus, Chuong Voeurn and Roger Modderkolk.

The result went down to the wire, decided in the final set of the night.
Roger Modderkolk won the men’ event on 114, ahead of runner-up Grant Gallus, just two points away.
The women’s competition was fought out between Mary Swoffer and Sheryl Chew, with Swoffer claiming the honours.
Thanks to up-and-coming teenage stars of the game Lauren White, Cadence Pang and Bailey White. All three were winners the previous week in the junior section of the tournament and helped make up the draw.
All three played extremely well and the experience will be of great benefit to the improvement of their game.
Friday night badminton will be back on Friday, July 19, following the school holidays.
