A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said units attended the structure fire at 1.50pm, with six vehicles attending at the height of the incident.

Police, including the Clandestine Laboratory Squad, executed warrants at two properties yesterday, including one in Rushworth, as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

The search warrant at the property in Clausen Rd, Rushworth was executed just after 1.30pm.

A small shed was on fire when police attended.

A Country Fire Authority spokesperson said units attended the structure fire at 1.50pm, with six vehicles attending at the height of the incident.

‘‘The shed became fully involved and then asset protection was undertaken,’’ the spokesperson said.

‘‘At 2.35pm it was declared safe and under control ... crews were monitoring and mopping up for an hour or so.’’

A Cornella man, 33, was taken to Goulburn Valley Health in Shepparton with burns as a result of the fire.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were called and they took a man with minor burns to hospital in a stable condition.

At 5pm, Goulburn Valley Health spokeswoman Carmel Johnson said the man was still being assessed, but remained in a stable condition.
