Goulburn Valley photographers have been out and about at Winton Wetlands, Waranga Basin and the Goulburn River to capture some wonderful shots of Monday night’s Wolf Moon — the first full moon of the year.

This year’s first full moon also happened to be a super moon — when the moon is at or near its closest point to Earth during its orbit.

Don’t forget to watch for another spectacular moon event on January 31 when there will be a lunar eclipse of the month’s second full moon — called a blue moon.
