Nagambie’s A Day on the Green has a star-studded line-up like never before.
This will be the fourth event in Nagambie and promises to be the best yet, with Bryan Adams, Daryl Braithwaite and Thirsty Merc performing.
Thirsty Merc front man Rai Thistlethwayte said the band was looking forward to performing at the popular show.
Thirsty Merc is celebrating 15 years as a band and, with hits such as Someday, Someday, In The Summertime and 20 Good Reasons, it has cemented itself in fans’ hearts.
Thistlethwayte said the members of Thirsty Merc loved performing live and were excited to meet fans and perform in the same space as Bryan Adams and Daryl Braithwaite.
‘‘I think that when you’ve got that live experience you get a deeper connection with the artist on stage,’’ he said.
Thistlethwayte said after 15 years together, the band’s members were still enjoying making music and A Day on the Green was a fun experience for them.
‘‘It’s awesome and it’s a great day out, it’s great music and it’s just a perfect combination of beautiful surroundings, great food, great wine and great music,’’ he said.
A Day On the Green is on Saturday, January 13, at Mitchelton Wines, Nagambie.
This event is fully licensed, so no alcohol from outside the event can be brought in.
People are asked to bring camping chairs and picnic rugs.
