Afghani allrounder Mohammad Nabi will join the BBL's Melbourne Renegades.

The Melbourne Renegades have turned to crafty Afghani allrounder Mohammad Nabi to replenish their spin bowling stocks.

The 32-year-old journeyman will replace West Indian off-spinner Sunil Narine who was forced to withdraw from the squad due to personal reasons, the BBL franchise's captain Aaron Finch said on Friday.

Nabi has been called in for the first seven games of the BBL season before big-hitting West Indian allrounder Kieron Pollard takes his spot for the final three matches.
