The Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will set up an information caravan in the Mansfield and Jamieson areas today following a fatal hit and run on Sunday.
A Jamieson man, 43, was found on Mansfield-Woods Point Rd, about 1km out of Jamieson, shortly before 1.15am.
Emergency services treated the man but he died a short time later.
Police believe the man was struck by a vehicle and are treating the incident as a hit-run collision.
An information caravan will be set up on Perkins St, Jamieson, outside the Courthouse Hotel, on Wednesday from 9.30am to 2.30pm, and on Thursday from 9.30am to noon on Highett St, Mansfield, outside Coffee Merchant.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who was driving on the road that day, from 11pm until the early hours of Sunday.
