Annie Baker's stall Wooden Roses was a hit.

Organisers of the Undera Country Fair have hailed the event a success with community groups coming together for the day.

Event organiser and Undera Kindergarten educator Judith Slattery said they could not have asked for a more beautiful day to host the fair.

‘‘Stalls, including wooden roses, books, olive oil, gems, plants and crafts occupied the locals, whilst the children enjoyed the bouncy castle, snow cones, fairy floss, face painting and an animal corner,’’ she said.

‘‘We were lucky to have the support of Undera Primary School, Undera Tennis Club, the local CFA and the Brownies and Girl Guides who all helped to make it a success.’’

Guests were eager to come away with a raffle prize, which was drawn at the end of the day.

‘‘(We had) kind donations from many local businesses including K & M Gardening, Kelly’s Cleaning Services, Barbeques Galore, Undera Hotel and entertainment packages from Fun City, Inflatable World and Giggle n Wriggle,’’ Ms Slattery said.

The event was also a great chance to promote the town’s little kindergarten, Ms Slattery said.

‘‘We are still enrolling for 2018,’’ she said.

‘‘Our open day is on Tuesday, December 12, from 9am to 2pm when you can come along and have a look at our gorgeous outdoor area and well-resourced kinder room.

‘‘We are enrolling for both three- and four-year-old programs.

‘‘You’re very welcome to contact us at any time to organise a visit if you’re not able to make it on the day.’’
