Christmas card shop to open

November 11, 2017

Pam Power and Kay Ball are excited for the Community Christmas Shop to open its doors.

With just over a month until Christmas arrives, the Shepparton Community Christmas Shop has opened its doors after a successful season last year.

Located inside the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre, staff and volunteers are looking forward to this year’s extended opening dates.

Greater Shepparton City Council sustainable development acting director Geraldine Christou encouraged residents to visit the shop to source their Christmas gifts and cards.

‘‘If you’re looking for something unique to give to friends or family, pop into the shop,’’ she said.

‘‘It’s also a fantastic outlet to plan your holiday activities.

‘‘We will again be sharing the centre with charity shop organisers, so it’s also a wonderful way to support several charities.’’

The charity shop will be open on weekdays from Monday to Friday, December 22, between 10am and 4pm.

The Visitor Centre is located at 33 Nixon St and is open from 9am to 5pm.
