Shepparton’s Jess Holmes and Johanna Nesbitt are determined to raise money for a good cause.

The pair will set off on a 20km walk tomorrow as part of the Upstream 50km Challenge that raises money for three charities.

Mrs Holmes and Ms Nesbitt have chosen to support Very Special Kids because of the excellent support they offer people in times of need.

Mrs Holmes’ family received support from Very Special Kids when her son Henry died four years ago.

‘‘Very Special Kids supported us as a family when Henry was alive and continue to support us through an excellent bereaved program,’’ she said.

‘‘I am not sure where we would be without their ongoing support.

‘‘Very Special Kids is an amazing organisation that relies heavily on fundraising and Joh and I wanted to find a way to give back to them, we jumped at the opportunity to do the walk.

‘‘Our motto is Henry couldn’t but we can.’’
