A truck was tipped on its side at the Shepparton Shooting Range yesterday morning.

Truck rollover

Emergency services were called to the Shepparton Shooting Range yesterday after a pick-up truck rolled just before 11am.

Police said the driver was moving a load of dirt when some got stuck in the trailer while the tipper trailer was up.

‘‘The small truck was tipped onto its side ... the driver was taken to hospital for precaution,’’ Shepparton police Sergeant Gerard Warrin said.

Stolen items recovered

A Shepparton woman, 50, was arrested after a search warrant at house yesterday, allegedly recovered a number of stolen items.

‘‘The warrant was in relation to a burglary on November 2 at a Shepparton north address,’’ Shepparton police Detective Gary Dean said.

‘‘Where a large amount of items were taken ... money, jewellery, electronics were among some of the items taken.’’

Shepparton Criminal Investigation Unit members recovered a number of stolen items during the search as well as other items — which are also alleged to be stolen goods.

The woman was bailed and will face the Shepparton Magistrates Court on January 8.

Ram raid repelled

Police are appealing to the public for information following the theft of a white 2016 Isuzu DMAX ute from Seven Creeks Estate, Kialla, on Monday night.

‘‘The offender/s were then unsuccessful when they used the vehicle in a failed attempt to ram access into a Tatura Supermarket in the early hours of (Tuesday) morning,’’ the Greater Shepparton Eyewatch page said.

Police said the store bollards successfully repelled the vehicle and they were searching for a vehicle with rear-end damage, including a broken tail-light.

The vehicle is also distinctive with business name decals on display.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle is urged to phone Shepparton Police station on 58205777.
