Police are on the hunt for a vehicle which is believed to have reached speeds of up to 210km/h in Kyabram over the weekend.
“On Saturday at around 3.30pm a vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed along McEwan Rd, towards the Kyabram township,” Campaspe Highway Patrol Leading Senior Constable Scopelliti said.
“The vehicle reaches speeds between 175km/h and 210km/h as it approached and drove through Kyabram … at the time it was deemed unsafe to road users for police to engage.”
Police said the purple Holden Commodore VX sedan or similar, had false registration plates reading 1GV7NQ.
“The vehicle is distinctive … information may also save lives,” Ldg Sen Const Scopelliti said.
