If you have any thoughts on the Strathbogie Shire’s public pools, council wants to her them.
Now is the chance for residents to raise ideas or issues about the current and future needs in the area of aquatic facilities.
Pool users are being urged to have their say, to help shape the future planning and decision-making for the shire’s four pools.
Feedback is set to be rolled into the development of a shire-wide community pools strategy.
The community survey, open from today until the end of October, builds on feedback received during an initial survey conducted more than a year ago.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Amanda McClaren said it was important council was able to gain a comprehensive understanding of the needs and expectations of the community when considering existing and future aquatic facilities for the shire.
‘‘We are asking community members and active pool users to take the time to share their views, preferences and typical usage habits as part of the consultation phase,’’ Cr McLaren said.
She said the strategy would be completed early next year and would give council and the community a clear vision for the longer term development of the shire’s pools.
The pools survey can be accessed online at www.strathbogie.vic.gov.au or at Strathbogie Shire Council’s Euroa office.
