Those who are not fans of web-series or even the ABC may not have heard of female comedians Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney.
But the boundary-pushing duo, who became loved for their viral YouTube series The Katering Show, have jumped over to the silver screen in new series Get Krack!n.
The show takes an incredibly satirical look at breakfast and morning show style programs which dominate every free-to-air television network daily.
Set in the show’s studio, the pair grapples through the morning’s program, with regular guests including Shepparton’s very own Briggs as weatherman.
Pushing the boundaries, the Kates’ use foul language and vulgar humour has seen a mixed response from audiences.
It has emerged that people either love or hate Get Krack!n and the Shepparton News would love to know your thoughts on the program.
Do you think the Kates’ are empowering female comedians? Or do they make you feel just a little bit uncomfortable?
