The Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort kicked off its annual September Tournament on Sunday with welcome drinks and a fantastic smorgasbord dinner.
The event, which is played over five days, has attracted 950 entries with people coming from as far as Maryborough in Queensland.
The September Tournament like the club’s May Tournament is a favourite with visitors as they can play five days of golf for only $125 which is incredible value for money.
Add to that the generous daily prizes and it is no wonder that it is a tournament that brings in a lot of visitors.
Unlike last year when the Murray Course was gripped with floods, this year the weather is being turned on and both the Murray and the Lake course are in perfect condition.
The fairways are like carpet and the greens are testing all players with their speed.
Next Sunday is the 27 hole Mixed Foursomes Championship. There are still a few spots available but get in quick to play in this honour board event.
