Families will be able to celebrate the joy of nature and friendship these school holidays, with the Gannawarra Library Service hosting a special reading of The Wind in the Willows.
The Cohuna Library will host a special reading of the Kenneth Grahame classic by Mr Badger on Monday, September 26 from 3pm.
“The Wind in the Willows is a literary classic, with the escapades of Mole, Ratty, Badger and Mr Toad part of cultural folklore,” Gannawarra Shire Council chief executive officer Tom O’Reilly said.
“Mr Badger is renowned around Adelaide for his reading of this popular book, and it is a pleasure to welcome him to the Gannawarra these school holidays.”
Mr Badger’s reading of The Wind in the Willows is part of the Gannawarra Library Service’s Welcome Spring school holiday program, occurring from September 20 to 28.
