It is Shepparton resident Greg Jaeschke’s time to shine as he prepares for the holiday season.
Mr Jaeschke’s music Christmas light display is well-known across Greater Shepparton thanks to it going viral in 2014.
‘‘The display goes from December 1,’’ he said.
‘‘It does take quite a bit of effort, last year it took me about six hours to do each song.’’
Each song lasts for about a minute and is synchronised with the lights.
Mr Jaeschke said he wanted to do something different after first starting to put Christmas lights up in 2013.
Last year he had 200 channels of lights and this year he has expanded it to 280.
At the moment Mr Jaeschke is still working on getting the last of the lights up, but was happy to switch them on so passersby could admire their glow.
He said each night up until December 24 he would add a new song to the display.
If anyone is planning to do a lights display, The News would like to hear about it and will be highlighting the homes on a street map to help guide Christmas light enthusiasts to all the best streets this month.
