Tatura police are investigating two thefts from cars.

Police said two cars at Martin St in Tatura were broken into between 1am and 7am on Tuesday, November 22.

Cash and banks cards were stolen from the vehicles.

Car impounded

The State Highway Patrol has been busy in Shepparton this week.

The car of a driver who attempted to evade police has been impounded for a month.

Police said the man attempted to avoid police on Sunday, November 20 but his vehicle was located the next day and he was bailed after being charged with a range of driving offences.

Fake credit cards

Shepparton police are investigating several credit card offences that happened in August this year.

Police believe payWave and false credit cards were used to acquire goods from two Shepparton stores.

A CCTV image has been released of an unknown male who may be able to assist police with their investigation.

The image can be seen on Facebook on the Eyewatch – Greater Shepparton Police Service Area page.
