Cattle numbers were up with 375 coming forward, the cattle that were presented were in top condition and sold incredibly well to strong competition.
A quality-sized yarding of veal and young cattle came forward, the top vealer reached $4.08/kg, prices remained fully firm to the previous week.
Heavy steers were in good supply, prices were also similar to the previous market with the top steer reaching $3.80/kg. Medium to Heavy steers were in better supply as well and the top steer reached $3.82/kg, also holding fully firm.
The top cow price reached $2.75/kg, holding steady from the last market.
Steers heavy over 500kg sold to $3.80, steers med/heavy 420-490kg sold to $3.82; Steer Veal heavy over 400kg sold to $4.08, steer veal medium 320-390kg sold to $4.08; Heifers Veal 420 to 490kg sold to $4.02, heifer veal 320-390kg sold to $ 4.02; Beef Cows sold to $2.75.
