‘‘This Easter won’t just bring Easter eggs; it will bring the 40th Australian Tractor Pull Championships.
Tractors and trucks will be blasting their way onto the Quambatook Tractor Pull Complex on Easter Saturday, March 26.
The event will kick-off with vintage tractors, then the two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive farm tractors to compete for the championship title.
The Quambatook Tractor Pullers Association said champion modified pulling machines from yesteryear would be on display along with memorabilia from a 40-year collection.
Highly modified pulling machines will be competing non-stop on two tracks.
The smoker class with Wick Whitetail and Wolverine Deere 2 will strut their stuff, and the association said they would be sure to get the crowd onto their feet.
Quambatook Tractor Pullers Association president Doug Carroll thanked the many sponsors for helping to make the event happen.
■ The Australian Tractor Pull Championships will be held at the Quambatook Tractor Pull Complex on March 26 from 1.30pm to 10pm. Cost is family $60 (two adults, three children), adults $25, children under 16 years old $12, and children under six years old are free.
